The Inland Empire was once known as the “Citrus Belt.” These days it is known for its many symphonies and racecar-related events, not to mention the Ontario Mills Mall, the largest one-story mall in western North America.
Inland Empire is home to Victoria Gardens Cultural Center in Rancho Cucamonga and
Theatrical Arts International, which performs Broadway productions at the California Theater. The San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore is the nation’s largest amphitheater holding 65,000 seats. If the orchestra is your idea of a vacation, than you have found the right destination. Four symphonies call this place home-Redlands Symphony, Riverside County Philharmonic, San Bernardino Symphony and Victor Valley Symphony. For a fast paced day of high-octane racing, head down to either of the tracks at Auto Club Speedway of Southern California in Fontana or attend the annual Route 66 Rendezvous.
