Visit Yosemite in the spring for a climbing adventure and stop in the eerie ghost town of Bode. Bring your camera if you plan on stopping in the Sequoia National Park, home of the Earth’s largest living organisms. Head a little north to spend the day in one of the areas many gold mining towns, then spend a day on the slopes in Tahoe at one of the many world-class ski resorts. If you happen to be visiting in the summertime try some water sports. Looking for excitement? Rent an ATV for some off-roading fun or wander some trails on horseback. Before your vacation is over be sure to visit the Grover Hot Springs in Markleeville for a relaxing soak in the hot springs.
